Jumana Abu-Hassan
Jumana is a consultant at LEARNS Collaborative. An Industrial Engineer by education, she applies her optimization mentality into every project and industry she works in.
Prior to joining Learns, Jumana worked in consulting, where she helped a broad range of clients in a variety of industries to increase the efficiency of their processes and improve outcomes through growth plans and transformation strategies. Jumana also worked closely with entrepreneurs and start-ups to develop feasibility studies, business plans and market entry studies enabling them to establish new businesses and enter new markets. Jumana draws on her experience in the start-up world to help companies use analytical rigour to make data-driven decisions that drive value and growth. In parallel, Jumana worked as a University and Careers Counsellor at her Alma Matter, where she discovered her passion to education.
Over the course of her career, Jumana worked across a variety of industries including healthcare, telecommunication, aerospace, logistics, food and beverage, education, insurance and technology which adds to her wealth of knowledge and diversity.
Working with Learns excites Jumana as she aspires to make a change in the way organizations, teams and schools are run. Working towards more diversity, equity and equality through listening practices is a transformational path that will help us make an impact in our world.
Jumana holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Columbia University.
